Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was born in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine of Scottish and English descendance. Her mother is Spanish with English roots. Four of her siblings belong to her father's ex-married partners. They lived at Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria part in London. Taylor Joy stated that moving from Buenos Aires to Victoria was difficult, and she was not able to take the time to learn English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she changed schools from Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and participated in drama productions. At the age of 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy was destined to be an actor from a young age. Her dreams were realized when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
