Charissa Thompson

Thompson was a former FOX Sports host who left FOX Sports to join Yahoo Sports in 2010, was also the host of Versus Sports. Thompson was the anchor of Versus' NHL studio coverage and also recorded web-based video for the highly trafficked Yahoo platform, leading its presence at some of the most prestigious sporting events like the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV as well as the BCS National Championship. Her show was successful in both areas, which made her join ESPN in August 2011. In this role she hosted the newly created afternoon program "Numbers Never Lie" which was a show on the network. In July 2012, she transitioned to the popular "SportsNation," enjoying a great run which lasted till it was cancelled by the network. come back to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May 2013. Thompson is an avid sports enthusiast, however she is proving her versatility to make the transition from sports into entertainment. She was hired as a co-host on"Extra," the Hollywood newsmagazine "Extra" in June of 2014 after working a number of jobs part-time.
